Healthy Rhythms to Leadership Work

AE Sloan Leadership- Healthy Rhythms

Now that summer is here, we want to remind you that there is a healthy rhythm to leadership work. As leaders, it's easy to get caught up in the day-to-day tasks and forget the purpose and focus of our work. That's why it's important to take a step back and reflect on our goals and how they align with God's will.

In my book, Tempered Resilience: How Leaders are Formed in the Crucible of Change, I talk about the importance of aligning our work with God's work and glorifying Him in our ministry. It's crucial to bring positive changes that align with God's will and reveal His work in the world.

One way to align our work and our lives with God's work is to take breaks and enjoy the gifts that God has given us. The sabbath day is a time for worship and reflection on the goodness of God's gifts in our lives. Even God enjoyed the sabbath, taking a stroll in the garden and enjoying creation.

So, as we enjoy the summer season, let's remember to take breaks and enjoy the work of our hands. Let's align our work and our lives with God's work and His will, and lead in a way that brings about positive changes in the world. And let's not forget to take time to rest and enjoy the gifts that God has given us.

Thank you for being a part of our community and for your continued support.
